Dear Friend,
Business and life have been challenging lately. My wonderful husband, two teenage daughters, a fairly new puppy and lots of stuff going on in both business and life have really tested me since the beginning of this year. It's all good even if I am being stretched! I try to look at my challenges as learning opportunities. I must be learning a lot!
Our puppy, Terra is about 4 months old now and could be called Jaws (her teeth could certainly to be filed down as I have teeth marks and scars all over my hands and arms!) Seriously, I won't file her teeth, but I certainly have to be fully focused when playing with her or I pay for it. I can see how this concept sounds just like my business and other aspects of my life. I am trying to be more focused in all of my intentions.
Since I have been challenged recently, I have decided to turn to many of the tools I have at my disposal. I have been using the Daily Giggle Goal cards from my Joyful Business Guide along with a book my good friend Suzy Sharpe gave me called, Ask and It Is Given by Esther and Jerry Hicks.
I have asked for and manifested many things in my business lately and they are coming into my life now. I "Ask and it is Given." I also have to say that when I do ask, I am careful about the details because I asked for lots of new clients this year and they're coming from all over, but I have had some bumps along the way because I forgot a thing or two in my wish list! It's like the saying we all know - You know the one..."Be careful what you wish for."
So what do you want? Do you need more clients, more money, more help, etc? You can attract everything you need if you open yourself up to the opportunities. It might sound corny or weird at first, but once you write it, say it, meditate or pray on it, and then share it with others, you are empowering others to help you get whatever it is that you want.

Recently I have heard some people talk like the law of attraction is some kind of magic formula and if you do it just right, poof, everything will be yours. I will admit, the law of attraction can do some amazing things for you but it certainly isn’t magical. The law of attraction is a law just like the law of aerodynamics.
If someone that lived 500 years ago were able to travel in time to where we are today, they would be amazed at airplanes. They might even think that it is some sort of magical thing that makes the airplane able to fly. We of course know that it’s not magic; it’s just a law being enforced.
Likewise, the law of attraction can seem magical at times but it’s not. The law works for everyone if they know how to work the law. Just because you do one or two things that are part of the law doesn’t mean that it will work for you. You have to enforce the whole law for it to work the way it’s supposed to. Don’t just think you can try it for one night and all the things you want in life will be attracted to you.
If you want the law of attraction to work for you, you need to study it and learn exactly how it works. By doing this you will find that you will have to change some things about you. This isn’t always easy, especially if you have been doing things a certain way for a long time.
