Virtual Assistant Scholarships
AssistU offers a number of scholarships. They are contacted often by people with a variety of life circumstances that would make it difficult to pay their tuition. Scholarships are awarded to those applicants whose stories are moving, and who, based on their applications and interviews, show immense promise to become talented and successful VAs.

The Fred Gandee Memorial Scholarship Program will assist new and emerging Virtual Assistants with partial tuition payment for the University of Virtual Assistants 10-week Virtual Assistant Training Program or our Fast Track Virtual Assistant Training Program® (www.UofVAs.com/onlineclasses.htm). Only one scholarship will be awarded each quarter. This Scholarship is available to all IAVOA members.
New and emerging Virtual Assistants (with 3 mos. to 1 year or more in business) may apply by contacting:

Applicants must be prepared to provide collateral marketing materials (business card, brochure, web site, etc.) for review and be prepared for and agree to a 30 minute interview to discuss their current business status and commitment to maintaining a professional Virtual Assistant practice.
All decisions are final and each Fred Gandee Memorial Scholarship recipient will be responsible for payment of the balance of the Virtual Assistant Training Program or the Fast Track Virtual Assistant Training Program® not covered by the Scholarship award.
As part of the organization’s way to thank their volunteers, a scholarship program has been set up which allows volunteers the opportunity to “win” registration and expenses ($500 stipend) for the yearly Summit. For more information about volunteering, check out the job bank at ivaa.org.
JERPAT VA Scholarship
JERPAT offers up to 4 full scholarships (cover the $150 fee) and Partial Scholarships as needed (cover $75 of the $150 fee). To be considered for the scholarship, you must fill out an application by the deadline and interview with a JERPAT VA Coach. They do not guarantee you will receive a scholarship, as they base it on need and qualifications.

The Alliance for Virtual Businesses Scholarship
The Alliance for Virtual Businesses™ (A4VB) will award, on a quarterly basis, one partial scholarship to Virtual Assistance U (VAU). Awardees will participate in a 20-week training program and upon completion graduate with a Graduate Virtual Assistant (GVA) designation. VAU exists to facilitate the development of up-to-the-minute, relevant and compelling virtual assistant practices. The A4VB scholarships will aid a virtual assistant in developing a unique practice reflecting the values, philosophy and boundaries of the VA entrepreneur.
